This course defines the skills needed to facilitate training. It entails applying active learning strategies, analyzing training documents, developing training documents, managing learning space and facilitating learning activities.
This course introduces trainees to the fundamental concepts, principles, and practices that shape Physical Education (PE) and Athletics. It explores how social, psychological, philosophical, and historical foundations influence teaching, learning, participation, and performance in physical activities and sports. The course also provides hands-on experience in athletics, enabling trainees to acquire practical skills, officiating knowledge, and positive attitudes towards active participation.
The unit consists of three modules namely: Preliminary site survey, Setting up levelling survey instrument and perform levelling traverse. This course aims at imparting knowledge and skills necessary formobilizing surveying resources, carrying out preliminary levelling survey, Setting up levelling instruments accurately, running levelling traverse and interpreting the analyzed data accurately. The course is self - pace and very interactive, therefore, throughout the course you will engage in self assessment through class activities which include in-video questions, quizzes, video and practical demonstrations. You will be expected to take video during practical and create an E- portfolio.
The purpose of this unit is to prepare you with skills, knowledge and competences required in planning, remodeling and managing an electrical workshop
This unit comprises of six modules namely workshop safety, design layout layout implementation, maintenance, training materials, tools and equipment and control techniques.
You will be expected to apply building workshop safety requirements, design training workshop layout, implement design plan for workshop layout, perform workshop maintenance, perform procurement of training materials, tools and equipment, apply tools and equipment control techniques.
This unit is self-paced learning, very interactive with engaging class activities which include in-video questions, quizzes, video and audio recording. At the end of every module, you will be expected to attempt self-assessment and create portfolio of evidence.
